Helpful Tips to Care For Your Lawn After Overseeding and/or Aeration
Question: How Often Should I Water My Lawn?
Answer: A LOT. And start NOW.
You should begin watering right after you overseed your lawn and water 1 to 2 times per day until the grass grows to mowing height; You are not spraying the seed to wash it away but watering it to keep it moist.
The seed should be kept moist until grass plant seedlings are seen sprouting out of the aeration holes. Usually within 14 days to a month you will see new grass seedlings.
When Can I Start Mowing The Lawn?
Answer: When the seedlings reach mowing height ; but Its usually safe to wait at least 2 weeks. Patience is key when caring for your newly overseeded lawn. If you have any questions please call the office. We appreciate your business.
